How It Works

Manuscript Matcher analyzes your title and abstract to help you identify journals whose scope aligns with your manuscript. It uses data from Web of Science and Journal Citation Reports (JCR), comparing your text to citation connections and previously published articles. The tool then generates a Match Score showing how closely your manuscript fits with each journal.

Add Article Title and Abstract

To start matching, enter your manuscript’s title and abstract.

Tip: For best results, use:

  • A title with at least 10 words
  • An abstract with at least 100 words

This helps Manuscript Matcher identify relevant keywords and improve accuracy.

Find the Best Fit For Your Article

Once you’ve submitted your information, Manuscript Matcher will:

  • Compare your manuscript to journals’ past publications
  • Assign a Match Score
  • Allow you to sort results by Match Score or Journal Title
