The Cite While You Write plugin allows communication between EndNote and Microsoft Word. Download it from myendnoteweb.com > Downloads. Once the plugin is installed, EndNote commands will appear in Word.
Before inserting citations into your Word document, ensure that the references you want to cite are saved in your EndNote library.
Some publishers require documents without field codes. EndNote provides a tool to create a formatted document stripped of Cite While You Write field codes.
