In our last Library Construction Update, we mentioned that part of the wall was taken down earlier this summer and that we are closed to non-JABSOM users (we still are). Things have been slowly humming along since then.
We're excited to share some important updates about the Library renovation project. As part of the ongoing improvements, the main library will receive new carpeting, matching the new classroom.
Here are some things you need to know:
During the week of December 2, ALL FURNITURE in the main library area will be relocated in preparation for the new flooring installation.
From December 9 through TBD, the main library will be off-limits to general foot traffic. ONE clear path will remain open to the study rooms and Computer Lab, but Conference Room 105 (AKA the Fishbowl), stacks, and main library space will be unavailable for the duration of the installation.
For our students who enjoy studying in the main library area and the fishbowl, we encourage you to find alternate study areas during this time, as the library will not be fully accessible.
