Library Instruction

Showing you how to use online and print resources effectively is one of our most important functions. Our goal is to teach you efficient ways of:

  • finding, compiling and evaluating information

  • helping you develop lifelong information skills that will continue to serve you both personally and professionally

Health sciences librarians provide instruction in a variety of settings:

  • individual, small group, and/or classroom instruction

  • in-person or online instruction

We offer instruction on the following topics:

  • Orientation to Library Resources
  • Effective PubMed Searching
  • Advanced PubMed Searching
  • Citation Management Training covering EndNote and Zotero
  • Systematic Review Tools covering Rayyan
