Document Delivery Service

The JABSOM Library is here to help you obtain the articles and books you need. We can help you facilitate borrowing materials through a number of ways:

Interlibrary Loan (ILL)

Use this service if you need an item that is NOT available through the UH system libraries. This service is provided for JABSOM faculty, staff, and students.

• To request materials (loans, articles, etc.) for items that are NOT available in the UH Library System, use the ILL Request Login for Interlibrary Loan (ILL) services unit.

Intrasystem Article Request, ISAR (UHM ISL)

Use this service to obtain an item from another UH system library. This service is provided for JABSOM faculty, staff, and students.

• To request book loans from other UH System libraries, use the OneSearch “Get This Item” request form for Hold or transfer this item.
• To request copies of journal articles and book chapters for items available from other UH System libraries, use the OneSearch “Get This Item” request form for Request Article: send to JABSOM.

Photocopy Service

Use this fee-based service to order photocopies of journal articles or book chapters up to 50 pages. This service is provided for JABSOM students and employees, University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa affiliated users, unaffiliated healthcare providers, and members of the public. This is a fee-based service. 

• Affiliated - $5.00 in-house / $11.00 outside of library
• Unaffiliated - $11.00 in-house / $22.00 outside of library; $0.10 per additional page over 50.
