As May approaches, so does the vibrant celebration of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage Month. This annual observance offers an opportunity to recognize and honor these diverse communities' rich cultural tapestry, contributions, and struggles. From the bustling streets of Chinatown to the serene landscapes of the Pacific Islands, the AANHPI community encompasses a wealth of traditions, languages, and histories that have profoundly shaped the fabric of American society.

The Federal Asian Pacific American Council (FAPAC) has announced that the 2024 National AANHPI Heritage Month Theme is Advancing Leaders Through Innovation. Visit FAPAC's AAPI Resources page to learn more.

One of the most striking aspects of the AANHPI community is its incredible diversity, representing a kaleidoscope of cultures, ethnicities, and languages. Within this expansive spectrum are stories of perseverance, innovation, and resilience that span generations.

Here at JABSOM Library, we have a handful of resource guides that you can explore to celebrate AANHPI Heritage Month:
