Listen, we are certainly not the first to point out that this past year has been something of a dumpster fire. But there are reasons to be (warily) hopeful for the coming year.
The vaccines are coming. If you're a healthcare worker, you may already be scheduled! You may have even gotten your first shot! The librarians cannot WAIT to join you.
We may be able to travel safely again! Those of us with friends and family on the mainland miss them.
New science-based leadership at the federal level! We're rooting for a national test-trace-vaccinate strategy.
VACCINES.
Hang in there. Wear your masks. Wash your hands. Drink your champagne at home. Be safe this year, so we can party with you next year.
