Setting Up My NCBI

Get the most out of PubMed with a My NCBI account. My NCBI is a free account that lets you set your preferences for NCBI databases, like PubMed. It will allow you to save searches, create alerts, view your search history, set your institutional affiliation, and more. 

1. Create/sign in to an NCBI account

• Access MyNCBI From PubMed, or go directly to the login page at https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/account/
• Create an account or sign in using one of NCBI's designated 3rd party sign-in options.
