How to Set Up LibKey

The library uses a service called LibKey to help you access full text faster. This tool detects scholarly content, making it easier for you to find what you need. We highly recommend installing this browser extension for the quickest access to full-text articles.

Trouble installing? Turn on Consumer Apps for UH emails by visiting: http://www.hawaii.edu/google/extra/extra.php

We also have a Google Doc format of instructions.

How to install Libkey from Health Sciences Library JABSOM on YouTube

  1. Visit LibKey Nomad to choose the extension based on your browser. You will know it is installed when you see this icon (green teardrop shape)

  1. Next, you will need to link your LibKey extension to UH Mānoa Library holdings. To do this, click on the LibKey icon (like the icon in Step 1) in your browser bar.
