Set Up the Access-by McGraw Hill App with UH Mānoa Institutional Access

The new Access App from McGraw Hill Medical, launched in August 2023, is a personalized interactive learning solution that makes studying easier and more efficient. Learners can search for vetted and trusted medical content across various mediums that best fit their learning needs, including books and chapters, videos, podcasts, infographics, images, tables, and figures. To install:

  1. Go to AccessMedicine via the library website.
  2. Select the option to Sign in or Create a Free MyAccess Profile​​​​​​.
  1. Sign in to your MyAccess Profile or create a Free MyAccess Profile.
  2. Fill in the required fields to create your account.
  3. Download the AccessMedicine app to your device.
  4. Log in to the app using the MyAccess Profile you just created.

NOTES ABOUT THE APP:

  • Please note that the Access app is not yet optimized for viewing on iPads or tablets (although it can be installed on this device type and will display as phone size on-screen).
  • You have 90 days of access before you need to re-authenticate to your institution’s subscription through the library website, intranet, or VPN. You will receive an in-app reminder when you need to reconnect to the subscription.
  • If you download the app first, you will be automatically validated once you are on campus (within your institution's designated IP range) and your phone connects to your institution’s network.
  • The following Access Medical sites are NOT currently featured in the Access app:
    • AccessArtMed
    • Case Files Collection
    • Murtagh Collection
    • JAMAevidence
