Direct Export from PubMed to Your EndNote
Not all databases and indexes offer direct export into EndNote. This tutorial will demonstrate a work around process for PubMed.
Step-by-Step:
- Perform search in PubMed
- Mark references you wish to export
- Click SEND TO and select file option - CITATION MANAGER; select number of citations to export, and enter starting number
- An .nbib file will be exported; and you can choose to Open file in EndNote, where it will save to the IMPORTED REFERENCES group
- In EndNote, select Imported References, [Ctrl + A] and drag to appropriate group
