Choosing sources wisely

You don't have to take our word on the site and sources presented here. You can always critically assess the information you have using these tools:

Library Services

Access to an online collection of journals, books, and databases

  • Over 2700 medical/basic science journals and 1300 medical textbooks.

Reference Service

  • Call, email, or visit the Information Services desk for help with literature searching or any other information needs you may have.

Library Guidelines & Helpful Reminders

Respect Shared Spaces

  • Do not leave personal belongings in study carrels. Please share your study space with others.
  • Only JABSOM affiliates may use the computer lab and group study rooms.
  • Take cell phone calls into the building lobby to avoid disrupting others.

Food & Drink Policy

  • Dry snacks and drinks in closed containers are permitted in the open library area and computer lab.
  • Water in closed containers is allowed in the stacks; all other food and drinks are not permitted.
  • You are welcome to enjoy full meals (such as bentos or plate lunches) in the Fishbowl. Please discard all food waste and containers in the outside trash bins.

Technology & Equipment

  • Save your work to a personal flash drive or use the thaw space. Do not save files to the desktop.
  • Report any equipment issues or other problems to Library Staff or Security.
