Dean's Certificate of Distinction in Rural Health
The Certificate of Distinction (COD) in Rural Health is designed to offer select medical students the opportunity to pursue their interest in rural health and develop knowledge and skills to be better prepared to practice medicine in a rural area. One program goal is to help increase interest in rural health and eventually provide more rural physicians for the State of Hawaii and the Pacific. The program requirements will include a combination of elective curricular and co-curricular activities.
