Certificate of Distinction in Medical Innovation and Design
The Certificate of Distinction (COD) in Medical Innovation and Design (MIND) is designed to offer select medical students the opportunity to pursue their interests and develop their skills in multidisciplinary collaboration, complex problem solving, and solution design. The program requirements will include a combination of elective curricular and co-curricular activities that will grant students the resources and education needed to take their innovative ideas for biomedical devices from conception to production and potential commercialization. Through this active application of learning, one goal of the program is to help foster the next generation of leaders in medical innovation and design.
